An event agency in Tijuana with 39 years in business, 25+ venues, gardens and ranches, catering and music. We redesigned the site in Spanish and English with one URL per area and event type, a venue search, a 5-step quote tool that saves the customer’s progress and a portal to follow up. Launched August 2026; results are being measured.

The challenge
The challenge
The old site was a template Google treated as duplicate content: the 25+ venues shared near-identical copy and no page answered "wedding venue in Playas de Tijuana" or "garden for a quinceañera in the Río district". Quotes arrived as loose messages and were never recorded.
What we did
- Full redesign in Spanish and English with one URL per area and event type; copy written from searches, not from the catalog.
- Search for venues, gardens and ranches by area, capacity and event type.
- 5-step quote tool that saves progress in the browser and, if the server connection fails, sends the full request over WhatsApp so nothing is lost.
- Client portal: password-protected account, request history with number and status, password change.
- Admin panel for the agency team: every request with a number, status and event log.
- Structured data, sitemap, robots with AI-bot permissions and llms.txt.
Technical details
- Static front end with Astro 5 (ES + /en/) and a Laravel API with Sanctum for quotes and the portal.
- Admin panel with Filament; MySQL database on GoDaddy cPanel (API on a subdomain, cron for queues).
- Quote tool in plain TypeScript: versioned draft in localStorage, WhatsApp fallback with the captured summary.
- Anti-abuse: honeypot, per-minute rate limit and IP hash; llms.txt and robots.txt with AI-bot rules.
