Custom business system · built around you

Custom software for small business: sales, inventory, purchasing and production in one system, no per-seat fees

A custom business system with Impulso Digital Dorado runs $6,000 to $15,000 USD one time — no per-seat licenses — and rolls out module by module in 6 to 12 weeks: sales, inventory per location, purchasing, production and owner reports in one place, built around how your business works. Against a $40-per-user SaaS it pays for itself between year 2 and 3.

Who it’s for

Who it’s for

  • US small businesses with 5 to 50 people running sales, inventory or production on paper, loose documents and group chats.
  • Companies with 2+ locations, warehouses or departments that do not talk to each other.
  • Owners who tried an off-the-shelf ERP and quit because it forced them to change how they work, or every extra seat and module cost more.

Sound familiar?

Sound familiar?

  • Half the operation lives in loose documents, the other half in my head.

It works until two people edit at once, a second location opens or there are two versions of the same file. One system, one record, with who changed it and when.

  • Inventory walks out the door and I can’t tell where.

Inventory per warehouse and location with an audit trail on every move, minimums with alerts and cycle counts from a phone. Small businesses lose around 20 % of profit to inventory chaos; that is what comes back.

  • Every SaaS I try makes me change how I work.

Built on your actual operation: your stages, your fields, your reports. We change the software, not your process (unless you want to).

  • Every extra seat costs me more.

One project price, unlimited users. Small-business ERP averages about $40 per user per month — five people is roughly $12,000 to $30,000 over five years depending on tier and modules. Custom, that money stays in your business.

  • Everything runs through me. If I stop, the business stops.

Roles per department, workflows that notify on their own (WhatsApp or email) and a daily owner report. You see everything without being in everything.

4 steps — the first one is free

How we work

  1. 30-minute call: how you run it today (paper, loose documents or several systems), how many people and locations, what gets lost. We tell you whether custom or off-the-shelf makes sense.

  2. Proposal by module with price, delivery order and dates; the first useful module (usually inventory or sales) in 3 to 4 weeks.

  3. Build with weekly previews on a staging URL, loaded with your real data; your team uses it before hand-off.

  4. Hand-held launch, training per department, and reviews at 30 and 90 days; adjustments covered by warranty.

Frequently asked questions

Frequently asked questions

How much does custom software for a small business cost?

$6,000 to $15,000 USD one time with Impulso Digital Dorado, depending on modules, locations and users, with no monthly per-seat license. That is typically 40–70 % below a US development shop for the same scope, because we build nearshore in Tijuana on a base we already run for our own products. Invoiced in USD.

Build vs. buy: when does custom make sense?

Buy off-the-shelf if your operation is standard, you have fewer than three users and nothing needs to talk to anything else. Build custom if you already have your own workflows, several locations or departments, or you pay every month for seats and modules you barely use. On the first call we do the math with you, even if the answer is not us.

How long does it take?

6 to 12 weeks in phases: the first useful module (inventory or sales, whichever hurts most) ships in 3 to 4 weeks and your team starts using it while we build the next. A system with production, several locations and accounting integration can take 4 months; dates go in writing.

Does it connect to my POS, QuickBooks or online store?

Yes. It connects to our POS or yours if it has an API, to your online store, and exports to QuickBooks or whatever your accountant uses. The goal is one record for sales, inventory and production instead of three tools that never talk to each other — with screens and support in English and Spanish for bilingual teams.

What if I stop working with you? Do I keep my data?

Yes. Code and database are in your name from day one, and you can export everything to Excel or CSV any time. If we part ways the system remains yours; you would only lose our support. It is in the contract because it is the question we hear most.

What would your system cost?

Tell us how you run it today — paper, loose documents or several systems — how many people and locations: you get a range instantly and a free 30-minute call.
